INSTALLATION / HOW TO INSTALL
RETRO PIPE FLASHING
-
Lift
or remove the upper roof tiles. Clean as needed.
-
Apply
a bead of
M1 sealant under the metal flashing base.
-
Slip on the metal retro-spin flashing base. Close base around pipe
so that the "door" faces downhill. Nail along upper area.
-
Seal
the door edges with M1 sealant, or solder. Use M1 sealant under
tiles where they overlap the base.
-
Slip the 2 EPDM Retro-collar pieces around the pipe.
-
Snap
each retro-collar piece together.
-
Push
the top/bottom retro-collar units together (they interlock).
-
Attach the metal clamp and tighten.
-
Trim
shingles as needed and reattach along the top area. Seal under
shingles with M1 sealant as needed.
