GENERAL INSTALLATION SUGGESTIONS:
Use Duralink Metal Roofing Sealant for metal roofing, or M1 EPDM sealant for
other roofing materials.
Apply bead of sealant UNDER base/foot (best applied to the underside of the
foot to create a gasket layer). Also apply a bead in the mechanical closing.
When complete apply an addition bead around top perimeter, and along the
perimeter edges, mechanical closing edge, around screw heads and other areas which may be
problematic.
Use only stainless steel roofing screws with washers. Galvanized screws can
react with the aluminum sealing flange.
